Lamb Meatballs

Ingredients Directions
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 T ground cornmeal
  • ¼ cup ground Pecorino Romano cheese
  • ¼ cup fine bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 T chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
  • 1 T paprika powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Combine all ingredients and shape into golf-ball size meatballs.

    Coat with olive oil and bake in an uncovered casserole dish for at 350°F for about 45 minutes.

    Serve with hot buttered pasta noodles with freshly grated nutmeg.
