Barbecued Lamb Steaks

with mustard sauce

Ingredients Directions
  • 2 steaks (1¼-inch) cut from a leg of lamb
  • 2-3 heaping Tbs mustard (anything from salad mustard to Dijon)
  • 2 Tbs soy sauce (enough to make mustard flow a little)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Mix the three sauce ingredients together.

Put steaks on hot grill to sear each side for 1-2 minutes. Reduce heat to regular grilling temperature. Spread sauce on cool side of steak, and grill for 5-10 minutes (depending on your taste for doneness and the temperature of the grill). Turn and spread sauce on cooked side. Leave on the grill until done (another 5-10 minutes).

Serve as you would any steak.
